Children's sunglasses
Your children only have one pair of eyes, so it is important to
protect them from the earliest point possible with regular eye tests and
correct eye wear. Everyone's eyes are at risk from the sun,
especially children's, as before a child turns 18 they'll have
absorbed half of the UV rays that they'll absorb in their lifetime.
As standard, our range of kid's sunglasses block
100% of both UVA and UVB rays.

With or without a prescription, lenses for children need to be
tough and impact resistant; as a result we recommend tough
polycarbonate lenses. At Leightons, unlike many other high street
opticians, your child's
sunglasses will be fitted by a qualified
dispensing optician as their training gives them
an expert understanding of what frames will fit your child
correctly.
Remember, that all children's eye tests are paid for by the NHS.
